The Awakening

The Awakening - Kate Chopin Read this just to mark it with a cross, and it really does not deserve more these days. I have nothing against the feminist message in here (which, by the way, is not "sleep with whoever you want", but rather "a woman can be a fulfilled personality without marriage and must not be hurried into marrying by outside circumstances"), it's just that I cannot find any especially fine literary qualities. A book for its time only.
